Cepelinai
Be careful, you might fall into a carb coma. You can ask for one Cepelinai, instead of two. They are called Cepelinai, because of their zeppelin shape, they are made of grated potatoes.

Kibinai are traditional pastries filled with mutton and onion, popular with Karaite ethnic minority in Lithuania. As everything Karaite in Lithuania, they are mostly associated with the city of Trakai.


Bulviniai blynai (potato pancakes) are shallow-fried pancakes of grated or ground potato, flour and egg, often flavored with grated garlic or onion and seasoning.

Šakotis (tree cake) is a Lithuanian traditional spit cake. It is a cake made of butter, eggs, flour, sugar, and cream, cooked on a rotating spit in an oven or over an open fire.



Kisielius is a viscous fruit dish, popular as a drink. It consists of the sweetened juice of berries, like cranberries, but it is thickened with potato starch.
